Aaron J. Fritzhand, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon and podiatrist providing comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions affecting the lower extremity. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, he offers both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs, with clinical interests that include foot surgery, diabetic foot care, and wound care.
Dr. Fritzhand earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Albany. He went on to complete residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis and at Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati. After practicing in the Cincinnati area, he joined Cincinnati Foot & Ankle Care and has continued to serve the region for many years.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and maintains membership in national and state podiatric medical associations. Dr. Fritzhand also supports the next generation of clinicians through mentoring and serves as faculty with a podiatric medicine and surgery residency program. His hospital affiliations include The Jewish Hospital–Mercy Health, The Christ Hospital, University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and Bethesda North Hospital.
