Ali Ashraf MD

Ali Ashraf, MD, is an orthopaedic surgery physician with a focus on orthopaedic sports medicine. He cares for patients with sports-related injuries and a wide range of shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle conditions, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques such as arthroscopic surgery as well as shoulder arthroplasty when appropriate. Dr. Ashraf is affiliated with Orthopedic Associates of Dallas and also practices at multiple clinic locations across the Dallas-area communities. Dr. Ashraf earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock after completing a B.S. in Biology at The University of Texas at Austin. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and pursued advanced fellowship training in orthopaedic sports medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He also spent dedicated time at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, conducting orthopaedic surgery research. Dr. Ashraf has contributed to peer-reviewed orthopaedic literature, including work on outcomes in adolescent musculoskeletal conditions. He is affiliated with Texas Health Rockwall and provides care in English, Hindi, Spanish, and Urdu.
