About

Amna A. Ajam, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist and neuroradiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she also serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She practices at University Hospital – Rhodes Hall and provides expert interpretation of neuroimaging studies in support of patient care across a wide range of neurologic conditions. Dr. Ajam completed her medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, followed by residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then pursued advanced subspecialty training through a neuroradiology fellowship at Ohio State. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with subspecialty certification in neuroradiology. Committed to education and mentorship, Dr. Ajam serves as Associate Program Director for the Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship Program and participates in diagnostic radiology residency selection and interviewing. Her academic interests include improving the patient experience in radiology, and she has contributed to scholarly work focused on outpatient imaging care and satisfaction. She is also the founding chief of Ohio State’s chapter of RAD-AID, supporting radiology-focused global health outreach.
