Anoop K Sharma MD

Anoop K. Sharma, MD, is a urology physician with broad experience caring for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and also holds subspecialty board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). Dr. Sharma is part of the Arizona State Urological Institute, where he provides patient-centered care with an emphasis on clear communication, individualized treatment planning, and evidence-based decision-making. Dr. Sharma earned his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. He completed residency training in urology at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School and pursued fellowship training at Mississippi Baptist Hospital, further refining his expertise in advanced urologic and reconstructive care. He is affiliated with Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. With approximately 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Sharma is known for a thoughtful, respectful approach that prioritizes patient goals and quality of life.
