Dr. Arsal Ahmad is a Pain Medicine physician and board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and completed an internship at Jersey Shore Medical Center, followed by residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior.
Dr. Ahmad provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of painful and function-limiting conditions, with a particular interest in treating common musculoskeletal disorders through a multidisciplinary approach. His clinical work includes general physiatry, pain management, electrodiagnostic medicine, and consultation for subacute rehabilitation needs. In addition, he performs independent medical examinations and has experience reviewing workers’ compensation-related claims, supported by his credential as an Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Disability Evaluator.
Dr. Ahmad is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is affiliated with Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. He has also delivered community and clinical presentations on topics such as chronic pain management, fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy and complex regional pain syndrome, arthritis rehabilitation, and sports and orthopedic injuries.
