Barton H Wachs MD

Barton H. Wachs, MD, is a urologist providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of urologic conditions, with a focus on men’s health and minimally invasive care. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wachs earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, and completed his urology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the founder of Atlantic Urology Medical Group and serves as Chair of the Department of Urology at Memorial Medical Center Long Beach. His clinical interests include erectile dysfunction, male infertility, neurogenic bladder conditions, no-scalpel vasectomy, and vasectomy reversal, as well as minimally invasive prostate procedures and medication-based therapies. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Wachs is a Qualified Medical Examiner with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Dr. Wachs is known for a patient-centered approach that emphasizes clear communication, shared decision-making, and individualized treatment planning. He speaks English and Spanish and is associated with practice locations in Southern California.
