Dara Parvin, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon based in Dayton, Ohio, specializing in the surgical and nonsurgical management of disorders of the spine. He focuses on minimally invasive spine surgery, spine trauma, and degenerative conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, with the goal of reducing pain, restoring function, and supporting a safe return to daily activities.
Dr. Parvin earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed a transitional year internship at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. He then completed residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of California Davis Health. He is board-certified in orthopedics.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Parvin has been involved in professional organizations within orthopedics and spine care, including fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and membership in the North American Spine Society. He has also participated in medical mission trips to Haiti and Vietnam.
Dr. Parvin holds medical licensure in Ohio and has also been licensed in Iowa and Oregon.
