Dr. David Garcia is an osteopathic physician with a clinical background in emergency medicine and a broad, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed graduate medical training in family medicine through University Hospitals Community Consortium. Dr. Garcia is board certified in family practice and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in addiction medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He also holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in occupational medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Garcia’s experience spans acute care decision-making as well as longitudinal, whole-person care, emphasizing evidence-based treatment plans and patient education. He is affiliated with OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and brings a collaborative style to coordinating care across specialties when needed. Dr. Garcia is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
