David S Jones MD

David S. Jones, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in neurological surgery with a clinical focus on disorders of the spine. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, applying techniques designed to reduce tissue disruption while supporting recovery and long-term function. Dr. Jones completed his medical education at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center / Wake Forest School of Medicine, followed by an internship and neurosurgery residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He is board certified in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jones maintains active engagement in organized neurosurgery as a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS) and a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He practices in North Carolina and has previously held medical licensure in South Carolina. Dr. Jones is also affiliated with a specialty surgical center in Greensboro, supporting comprehensive surgical care for appropriate patients.
