Fares M. Alqara, MD, is an obstetrics and gynecology physician who provides comprehensive inpatient women’s health care with a focus on labor and delivery. He serves as an obstetric hospitalist (laborist) within TriHealth, where he supports safe, coordinated care for patients presenting for childbirth and urgent obstetric evaluation, working closely with community obstetric providers and multidisciplinary hospital teams. In addition to direct patient care, Dr. Alqara supervises resident staff in Labor & Delivery at Bethesda North Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Alqara earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Aultman Hospital. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His clinical involvement also includes laborist support for the Fetal Care Center in collaboration with TriHealth, helping ensure timely evaluation and delivery planning for complex pregnancies.
