Gerald Michael Rosenberg, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University and received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center and advanced fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Rosenberg’s career has centered on conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has also completed an MBA at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, reflecting an added focus on leadership and healthcare systems. His experience includes academic involvement at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and clinical service as an orthopedic surgeon with a Veterans Affairs ambulatory care center.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Rosenberg has contributed to orthopaedic innovation through work with Stryker on implant development and holds a patent related to a pegged glenoid design. He currently focuses on medical-legal orthopaedics, providing case reviews, consultations, and independent medical evaluations, including virtual IMEs.
