Jameel F Durrani MD

Dr. Jameel F. Durrani is an internal medicine physician and adult pulmonologist/intensivist with expertise in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, including sleep medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). Dr. Durrani earned his medical degree from Nishtar Medical University in Multan, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania. He pursued advanced fellowship training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Clinically, Dr. Durrani evaluates and treats a broad range of adult lung and breathing disorders, including asthma, emphysema/COPD, chronic cough and shortness of breath, abnormal chest imaging findings, and hemoptysis. His work spans outpatient pulmonary care and the management of critically ill patients in intensive care settings. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine, he brings a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to complex cardiopulmonary conditions. Dr. Durrani has also contributed to scholarly work in pulmonary and critical care medicine and has held an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
