James Zerner MD

James Zerner, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist with a clinical focus in musculoskeletal and spine imaging. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed radiology residency training at Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma, followed by a radiology fellowship at LSU Medical Center. Dr. Zerner is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Zerner practices with Texas Radiology Associates, where he serves as a partner, and he supports imaging services across multiple Texas Health facilities, including Texas Health Allen, Alliance, Cleburne, Denton, Flower Mound, Frisco, HEB, Plano, and Stephenville. His work emphasizes accurate, timely image interpretation to help guide diagnosis and treatment planning, particularly for conditions affecting bones, joints, and the spine. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Zerner brings leadership experience from prior roles as a partner and board member within other radiology groups. He is fluent in English and collaborates closely with referring physicians and care teams to ensure imaging findings are integrated into comprehensive patient care.
