Jeffrey L. Mikutis, DO, is a pediatric orthopaedic surgery physician who provides specialized musculoskeletal care for infants, children, and adolescents. He practices with the Orthopedic Center for Spinal & Pediatric Care and is affiliated with Dayton Children’s Hospital, where he also serves in a leadership role as an Attending Director in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Mikutis earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed orthopaedic residency training through the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and pursued advanced subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics at Nemours Children’s Clinic.
Board certified in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Mikutis has clinical interests that include pediatric sports medicine and fracture care. He is experienced in caring for young athletes and is recognized for expertise in pediatric-focused ACL reconstruction. Patients and families value his practical, hands-on approach to helping children return safely to activity and daily life.
Before focusing fully on pediatric orthopaedics, Dr. Mikutis served in the U.S. Air Force. Outside of medicine, his interests include travel, history, building model airplanes, and golfing.
