Jeralyn J Jones

Jeralyn J. Jones, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist who provides comprehensive psychiatric care with a strong commitment to education and clinical training. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed her psychiatry residency at California Pacific Medical Center/Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Jones has played a significant role in advancing psychiatric education in Idaho. She helped launch the Idaho Advanced Clinician Track of the University of Washington Psychiatry Residency and has been actively involved in training both family medicine and psychiatry residents. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an outpatient site supervisor, supporting resident development through teaching and clinical supervision. Her professional interests include psychiatric education and analytical psychology, reflecting a dedication to thoughtful, evidence-based care as well as the broader understanding of human behavior and emotional well-being. Dr. Jones has been recognized for her contributions to residency education in Idaho, including receiving the Ada County Medical Society’s Physician of the Year award for her work in strengthening psychiatric training in the region.
