Joel H Obregon PT

Joel H. Obregon, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist with South Texas Bone & Joint. Originally from Kingsville, Texas, he is committed to helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most through individualized, evidence-based rehabilitation. Dr. Obregon earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, graduating magna cum laude. He went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. As Director of Physical Therapy, Dr. Obregon supports high-quality clinical care and collaborative practice across the rehabilitation team. He also serves as a clinical instructor for Del Mar College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program, mentoring and supervising students during their clinical rotations. Dr. Obregon provides patient-centered care that emphasizes education, progressive therapeutic exercise, and functional training tailored to each patient’s goals, whether recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or preparing to safely return to work or sport.
