John Morehead MD

John Morehead, MD, is a facial plastic surgery physician in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at UT Health San Antonio. He provides comprehensive ENT and facial plastic surgical care, with clinical interests spanning facial trauma and nasal fractures, facial nerve disorders, nasal obstruction and allergies, sinus disorders, and skull base conditions. Dr. Morehead also evaluates and treats a wide range of ear-related concerns, including hearing loss, ear infections, and dizziness or balance disorders, as well as head and neck tumors and salivary gland disorders. His practice further encompasses sleep apnea and snoring, throat and laryngeal disorders, voice and swallowing concerns, and disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Dr. Morehead earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed residency training at Keesler USAF Medical Center and pursued fellowship training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and his credentials also include board certification as listed in plastic surgery and reconstructive disciplines.
