Kathleen S. Byrnes, M.Ed., CRC, LPC, CCM, CVE, is a case manager and care coordinator specializing in vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work services. She is affiliated with Vocational Consulting of Ohio, LLC and brings extensive experience supporting individuals navigating work-related injuries, disability claims, and complex psychosocial and functional barriers to employment.
Ms. Byrnes holds degrees in Education as well as Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University. With over 15 years of direct vocational rehabilitation experience, she provides comprehensive vocational evaluations and employability assessments, including evaluations performed for workers’ compensation and federal programs. Her work often includes vocational assessment and testing, job-seeking skills training, job development, and job placement support designed to help clients pursue safe and sustainable work.
In addition to clinical and consultative services, Ms. Byrnes participates in Social Security Disability hearings as a vocational witness. She has also held professional leadership roles, including election as a member-at-large within the Job Placement Division of the National Rehabilitation Association. Her approach emphasizes objective analysis, clear communication, and coordinated planning to support informed decision-making for clients and stakeholders.
