Kenneth Joseph Westerheide, MD, is an orthopaedic surgery physician specializing in sports medicine. He is affiliated with Orthopedic One and cares for patients across multiple office locations in the Columbus area. Dr. Westerheide earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He pursued advanced fellowship training at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute with an emphasis on sports medicine and shoulder arthroscopy.
Dr. Westerheide’s clinical focus includes minimally invasive and arthroscopic treatment of athletic and active individuals, with particular expertise in shoulder arthroscopy and knee ACL reconstruction. He also performs hip arthroscopy, tailoring treatment plans to support a safe return to work, sport, and daily activities. Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is committed to evidence-based care and patient education.
