Kevin McKennan MD

Kevin McKennan, M.D., is an otology and neurotology physician who specializes in the medical and surgical care of ear and hearing disorders, with particular expertise in complex conditions affecting the inner ear and skull base. His clinical focus includes cochlear implantation, acoustic neuroma, cholesteatoma, and otosclerosis, and he is dedicated to helping patients improve hearing, balance, and quality of life through individualized evaluation and treatment. Dr. McKennan earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rochester and received his medical degree from Albany Medical College (Union University). He completed a general surgery internship at the University of California, Davis, followed by residency training in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at UC Davis. He pursued advanced subspecialty training with a neurotology/otology fellowship at the Otology Group in Nashville. Board certified in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. McKennan is a member of the American Neurotology Society. He also holds hospital privileges at Mercy General Hospital and Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, supporting coordinated care across outpatient and hospital settings.
