Linda L Burk MD

Dr. Linda L. Burk is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, with particular emphasis on cataract and lens surgery, glaucoma, and corneal disease. She is known for her experience with advanced intraocular lens options, including AcrySof intraocular lens implantation and the AcrySof ReSTOR lens, and has implanted more than 11,000 AcrySof lenses as reported by her practice. Dr. Burk completed her medical education at the University of Michigan, followed by an internship at Northwestern University Medical School and residency training at Duke University Medical Center. She pursued additional fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center and Emory University School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Burk serves as a Clinical Professor at UT Southwestern Medical School and is affiliated with Texas Health Dallas. She has been featured on the TLC program “The Operation” and has received a “Champions of the Industry” award, as noted by her practice. Dr. Burk is recognized for combining surgical expertise with attentive, patient-centered care.
