Marc Galloway, MD, is a sports medicine physician specializing in orthopaedic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Galloway cares for patients with athletic and activity-related injuries, with clinical interests that include arthroscopic surgery and soft-tissue reconstructive procedures of the knee and shoulder.
Dr. Galloway earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed medical school at Duke University School of Medicine. He trained in orthopaedic surgery during his residency at Yale–New Haven Hospital, followed by fellowship training in sports medicine in Cincinnati with an emphasis on sports medicine, biomechanics, and arthroscopy.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Galloway has held academic and leadership roles, including serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Yale University School of Medicine and as Chief of Orthopaedics for the Yale University Health Service. He has also contributed extensively to physician education, participating in the training of orthopaedic residents and fellows. Dr. Galloway serves as Head Team Physician for the Cincinnati Bengals.
