Dr. Michael Griesser is an orthopaedic surgery physician who provides comprehensive care for adults and older adults with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. His clinical focus includes orthopedic sports medicine and the evaluation and treatment of hip, knee, and shoulder and elbow problems, with an emphasis on helping patients return safely to work, daily activities, and athletics.
Dr. Griesser earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He completed orthopaedic surgery training at The Ohio State University and pursued advanced fellowship training in orthopaedic sports medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Griesser serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Wright State University, supporting medical education and the development of future physicians. He is a member of Premier Physician Network. Dr. Griesser communicates in English and is committed to delivering patient-centered care that prioritizes clear explanations, shared decision-making, and individualized treatment plans, including both surgical and non-surgical options when appropriate.
