Michael Williard, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon with a clinical focus in general orthopedics and a special interest in shoulder reconstruction and arthroscopy. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is committed to helping patients return to the activities that matter most through thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Dr. Williard completed his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame and earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He went on to complete an orthopaedic surgery residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center.
Actively engaged in the orthopaedic community, Dr. Williard holds professional memberships that include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Ohio Orthopaedic Society, the Central Ohio Orthopaedic Society, and the American Medical Association. He has also served as a committee member for the Center for Clinical Research and Technology Committee at Mount Carmel Medical Center, reflecting his interest in advancing clinical practice.
Dr. Williard has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. His surgical care is provided at regional facilities including Mount Carmel East Hospital, Mount Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital, Pickerington Methodist Hospital, and the Surgery Center at Easton.
