Nashat Gabrail, M.D., is an adult hematologist and medical oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders and cancer. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Dr. Gabrail completed his medical education at the University of Mosul School of Medicine and the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad. His postgraduate training includes internship and residency at Hurley Medical Center, additional residency training at Western General Hospital in Scotland, and hematology/oncology fellowship training at the University of Missouri Medical Center and Saint Louis University Health Science Center. Dr. Gabrail leads Gabrail Cancer Center, where he serves as president and owner of the affiliated medical practice. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, reflecting his commitment to medical education and mentorship. Actively engaged in advancing cancer care, Dr. Gabrail participates in clinical research and has contributed to peer-reviewed oncology publications, including clinical trial work. He has held leadership roles within professional organizations, including service as a trustee of the Ohio Hematology Oncology Society, and has served in advisory capacities with national oncology networks. He is the author of the books "Good Medicine is Cheaper Medicine" and "The Cancer Gene."
