Raymond J Kobus

About

Raymond J. Kobus, MD, is an orthopaedic hand surgeon in Columbus, Ohio, with more than three decades of experience caring for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. He earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed an orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in hand and microsurgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Kobus’s clinical interests include minimally invasive fracture repair; evaluation and treatment of sports-related and wrist injuries, including fractures in young athletes; management of arthritic conditions of the hand and wrist; and care for nerve-compression disorders such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndromes, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release. He is active in professional societies including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Kobus has also contributed to peer-reviewed clinical outcomes research in hand surgery.
