Dr. Robert A. Martin is an orthopaedic surgery physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. He provides comprehensive orthopaedic care with clinical interests that include sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff care, and knee replacement. Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed advanced postgraduate training through an internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, residency training at Washington University School of Medicine, and fellowship training with Orthopaedic Research of Virginia. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Martin has contributed to orthopaedic leadership and education. He has previously served as chairman of an orthopaedic department and has participated in hospital medical and surgical administrative committees. He is also involved in graduate medical education as faculty in an orthopaedic training program. Dr. Martin’s background includes experience in sports medicine settings, including service in professional and community athletic organizations.
