Robert T Wechsler MD

Robert T. Wechsler, MD, PhD, FAAN, is a clinical neurophysiology physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, nonepileptic seizures, and convulsions. He is the owner of Consultants in Epilepsy and Neurology, PLLC, and serves as Medical Director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at St. Luke’s Boise. Dr. Wechsler is board certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Epilepsy. Dr. Wechsler earned his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School and also completed a PhD in neuroscience. He completed his neurology residency training at Barrow Neurological Institute and pursued fellowship training at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. In clinical practice, Dr. Wechsler focuses on comprehensive seizure evaluation and management, including the use of neurophysiologic testing and EMU-based diagnostic monitoring to help clarify seizure type and guide individualized treatment strategies. He is affiliated with St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center and St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center, and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients and families living with seizure disorders.
