Robert McNeill DDS

Robert McNeill, D.D.S., M.D., is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Garland, Texas. He earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and completed advanced training at Case Western Reserve University, where he obtained his M.D. and a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. McNeill is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. McNeill is known for a strong focus on patient safety, with particular emphasis on anesthesia and sedation safety and office-based emergency preparedness. He has contributed to the broader dental community through regulatory and safety-focused roles, including service as a board member of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and prior work evaluating adverse-event situations in dental offices. He has also been selected to participate in a state panel focused on dental sedation safety. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. McNeill has presented on medical emergencies in the dental office and patient safety topics. He is a partner and surgeon with The Dental Specialists and has participated in community service and mission work.
