Ronald Kahn, MD, is a family medicine physician with over 40 years of experience caring for patients across a wide range of health needs. A native of Dayton, Ohio, he brings a community-centered perspective to primary care and is part of Kettering Health Medical Group. In addition to clinical care, Dr. Kahn serves as a resource physician, helping provide continuity of care and coverage so patients can remain supported when other clinicians are away.
Dr. Kahn earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati and completed his medical education at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He went on to complete residency training at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, followed by fellowship training associated with The Ohio State University.
His approach to care emphasizes attentive listening, thoughtful evaluation, and clear discussion of options, with a focus on shared decision-making that helps patients choose a treatment path that fits their goals and values. Dr. Kahn practices in English. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, model trains, and photography.
