Ryan Dunn, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Ohio who provides outpatient psychological services for adults. He works with individuals and couples facing concerns such as depression, anxiety, and marital or family difficulties, offering a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach tailored to each person’s goals and circumstances. Dr. Dunn also has specialized experience in pain management and the clinical use of hypnosis, helping patients develop practical skills to reduce distress, strengthen coping, and improve day-to-day functioning.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Dunn served as a psychologist in the U.S. Air Force, experience that contributed to his structured, supportive style of care and his commitment to accessible mental health treatment. After practicing in Columbus, he went on to help establish New Life Counseling in Dover, where he continues to serve the community.
Originally from Holmes County, Ohio, Dr. Dunn lives near Dover with his wife and two children and is active in a local church. He is certified as a telehealth provider and may offer remote services when clinically appropriate.
