Dr. Samia Borchers is a board-certified dermatologist who provides comprehensive medical and preventive dermatologic care for patients in the Dayton, Ohio area. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree from Wright State University. Dr. Borchers received her medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine as a member of the school’s charter class and completed her dermatology residency training at Wright State University.
With a longstanding commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, Dr. Borchers has been recognized as Ohio Dermatologist of the Year. She is also dedicated to community education and skin cancer prevention, having participated as an educator and advocate through the MCMS RAYS (Raising Awareness of Your Skin) program focused on UV exposure and sun safety.
Dr. Borchers has contributed to the dermatology literature as a co-author on peer-reviewed work addressing assessment of actinic keratosis and photodamage. In addition, she has been noted by Wright State University for service on the Wright State University Academy of Medicine Board of Trustees. She speaks multiple languages, including Arabic.
