Sandra Gonzalez PsyD

Sandra Gonzalez, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist in Oregon and the founder of Gonzalez Psychological Services, P.C., based in Portland. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University’s School of Professional Psychology and has provided psychological services in Oregon for many years. Dr. Gonzalez’s work centers on comprehensive psychological evaluation, with an emphasis on culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment. She is bilingual and provides services in both English and Spanish, with particular experience conducting evaluations for Spanish-speaking Latino individuals from diverse regions, including Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. In addition to clinical assessment, Dr. Gonzalez is certified to conduct forensic evaluations in Oregon. Her forensic practice includes evaluations related to competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility within state and federal legal systems. She also provides parental assessments in legally involved cases, including referrals from attorneys and the Department of Human Services, as well as independent psychological evaluations addressing questions such as whether a mental health condition is work-related. Dr. Gonzalez is professionally affiliated with the American Psychological Association, the Oregon Psychological Association, and the National Latino/a Psychological Association.
