Winston M Chan MD

Winston M. Chan, MD, is a colon and rectal surgeon who also practices general surgery with Texas Health Physicians Group. He provides comprehensive evaluation and surgical care for conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus, with an emphasis on minimally invasive approaches. Dr. Chan has additional training and certification on the da Vinci Xi robotic system and incorporates advanced robotic and minimally invasive techniques when appropriate to support patient recovery and outcomes. Dr. Chan earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and advanced fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and in Colon and Rectal Surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Chan is affiliated with Texas Health Arlington Memorial, Texas Health Fort Worth, Texas Health Heart and Vascular, and Texas Health Mansfield.
